Overtaking rules + reminder

Post  GingerAndy96 on Sun Dec 26, 2010 11:56 am

Just to remind few points:

Most tracks only have few and you really can be stuck behind someone even if you're faster (just like Alonso was stuck behind Petrov in the last race )
In a situation like this, you either have to wait till they make a mistake somewhere, or you can try slip stream them on the straights and outbreak or you can try jump them with pitstop. Also some people have been complaining about stupid moves being placed on them. REMEMBER U HAVE RACE FUEL ON BOARD!! ALSO NO 80-20% MOVES 50-50 or 60-40 only if your confident of a clan outcome.

Don't go for overtake in dangerous tight parts of the track.

When defending, leave room and know when you've been overtaken and have to give away your racing line.
When attacking, don't brake late and then force someone out of their racing line and leave no room.

These are the guidelines I always try to follow myself. Multi lap battles are more fun anyways cheers
